At Made in The Shade of East Orlando we are committed to providing our customers with a safe and pleasant in-home/office window treatment experience. During the COVID-19 outbreak, we are complying with government policies and are taking the following steps to promote safety:

Made in The Shade of East Orlando is now proud to offer free virtual design consultations. Your window treatment design expert will connect with you using online video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Facetime, & Skype to show you the various products & how they each look and would be installed in a typical window. If you would like assistance accessing a video chat program, feel free to ask us for help. Our team of window treatment designers will walk you through how to connect with us before your scheduled appointment.

Most homeowners still prefer our free in-home/office window treatment design consultation, therefore, we will continue to offer in-home/office window treatment consultations and installations where possible—provided all parties are healthy, comfortable, and acting in compliance with current government policies. To ensure your safety and to protect the health of our team, we are taking the following measures:

  • Made in The Shade of Raleigh regularly monitors the health of our window treatment design experts and installers. If anyone on our team has exhibited a fever or other signs of illness within 24 hours of your appointment, we will reschedule your appointment with another designer or installer.
  • We require our team to sanitize their hands before entering a client’s home and upon leaving.
  • While in your home, we will respectfully not shake your hand and we will work with you to maintain extra distance during our window treatment design consultation and installation process.
  • All clients must read this prior to the appointment and by doing so, have acknowledged that they are unaware that anyone in their household is self-quarantining and/or displaying any symptoms of being sick. If our customers let us know of any signs of current or recent illness, we are rescheduling these appointments to reduce the risks to our staff and our customers.
